Scripting and Coding account for a bulk of the time spent creating your site. While HTML is the backbone of the site, smdotnewt.gif (327 bytes) can use numerous languages to code in. For certain functions of interactivity a Special Script must be written. ASP's are often used to keep the content of your site current.  For a more detailed description of these languages look below or check out our NewTech area.

HTML - HTML (hyper text mark-up language) is the standard language (or code) for creating a web page. HTML comprises most of the text and flat images of a site. At smdotnewt.gif (327 bytes) we can use the most current features of HTML 4 to keep you on top of your competition.

Active Server Pages - ASP's make possible an incredible range of useful and interactive features. This new technology promises to replace the old server-side scripting languages (Perl, C, Java, etc). smdotnewt.gif (327 bytes) can use this complex language  for database connectivity, real time updates, and Dynamic Page building (thus Active Pages). For more info and examples go here.

Special Scripting - Special scripting includes JavaScript, JScripts, V.B.Scripts, CGI, and C Scripts. smdotnewt.gif (327 bytes) can create effects, interactivity and technical operations. Additionally, cascading style sheets can be used to give the site a unique smooth look all over. Special scripting can add pizzazz to an otherwise static web site.
